World Soccer students will be accommodated in great lodging. In London, you will stay at the Roehampton Institute Residence, a conference service center close to the heart of London but set in wooded parklands is simply the perfect place for the camp.
Rooms are all singles and all have their own wash basin, mirror and cabinet. The toilets, showers and baths are on the same hallway. Only 6 people share the common bathrooms.
Laundry cleaning can be done on campus for £2 for a wash and dry.
Cleaning of communal areas and bathrooms is done daily. Bedrooms are cleaned daily. Students will be responsible for keeping their rooms tidy. The dining room is cleaned after each meal. Bed linen is provided (and changed weekly) and beds are made up for each arrival.
It is NOT recommended that you bring expensive electrical items and portable phones to the camp. All money, passports and travel documents will need to be kept on you or in your room.
All rooms and common areas are regularly checked for damages, and individuals who cause damage to any property on the site will be liable for the cost of repairs.
Meals for all students are taken in the bright, modern restaurant on site with a sports oriented type of menu.
All students are advised not to bring with them elements of personal belongings that are valuable and expensive. As a company World Soccer do not have insurance coverage for personal belongings.
Telephoning home: We advise all students to call home on their arrival evening to ensure that their parents do not worry about them. International calls are cheaper on weekends or between 18.00 and 08.00 Monday-Friday. Public telephones are available in both locations. Students are advised to ring home on arrival day and notify their parents of the most convenient number to ring. A 24-hour emergency telephone will also be available throughout the summer; the number will be available prior to the summer.
